Miranda loves being outdoors in all weathers and first heard about Search and Rescue from Holly, an existing team member. The essential work the team carries out resonated with Miranda who has particularly enjoyed learning about the various aspects of missing person behaviour, navigation, through to the intricacies of dog handling in various search situations.
Miranda is a Consultant and also a Trustee for The Roseland Youth Sailing Trust.
