Between the ages 16 and 20 Clare was a qualified pool lifeguard. Then she went onto pursuing a career in Toxicology at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London after completing both BSc Forensic Science and MSc Medical Toxicology degrees at university. At the age of 29 she changed her career once again and now runs her own film-making company. After moving to Hove in 2020, Clare became aware of the importance of all the coastal and lowland emergency services. She has always had a desire to help with emergency situations and Search and Rescue. Clare joined the team in 2022 and is currently training to be a Search Technician. She also has a passionate desire and hope to train as a Dog Handler in the near future with her Barbet puppy Koda, once she becomes old enough.
