Level 2 operational search dog between 2016 and 2020. The lovely Ace who passed away August 2022 started his searching journey in 2013 with handler Steve Woods, learning how to put his favourite sniffing and finding hobby to the test by training for years, to find himself an operational search dog in 2016-2020 when he then retired. Ace loved his job more than anything (maybe not more than Steve his handler). He embraced and enjoyed every second of his job, as soon as his search coat was on he was determined, this is shown in the many lives he helped by finding. He performed particularly well in the year of 2020, where he and all his search dog buddies put all their skills to the test in one of the busiest years due to Covid Lockdown. Ace had many friends on the team and is missed greatly. Ace is handing the reigns over to Libby, who is new asset to the team and is currently doing well in training to carry on the legacy.
