I am a volunteer. by Nicola Gaffney

Name: Nicola
Role: non operational support
Brief summary of role: Getting (intentionally) lost in the woods (to help with training)
Normal job: Contract Negotiator - I argue for a living.
Hours in job: Technically; 37 hrs/week.  Really; 50+ hrs/week
Hours per year volunteering: ~50-100 hours a year
Hobbies: Cooking, sewing, knitting, quilting, spinning (wool), reading, staying indoors out of the way of the sun and mosquitoes
Why I volunteer: Initially because it was something that was the complete opposite to what I'd normally do with my free time.  Now, because I love it.
Funny fact: I'm the only member of the team to have caused an actual deployment whilst on training #remembertotakearadiowithyounexttime
